When all dogs are declared treed the trees are closed. The dog that moved gets minuses track & tree.

minused

tree minus because rule 4i dog declared treed leaves tree, then dog went to a closed tree after judge arrived. rule 4 f if dog declared treed after 5 min. has elapsed no additional dog can be declared treed at that particular tree but if they come in to tree will get minus on track and nothing on tree if the coon is seen. both those rules apply in your ?. the judge had to have been there to minus the dog for leaving if they were only 20 yds apart so the second part just goes with it. Now if no coon was seen even if the second tree was slick the third dog would have got his strike points circled according to rule 5b no dog to receive minus points for coming into tree after judge arrives unless a coon is seen and the dogs treeing are awarded plus points. If the dog would have just ran off and got out of there his strike points are still good until the 8 gets him. hope this helps answer your ?.
