Worming dog and hunting

Earlier in the week wormed my dog for three days with safeguard. Been hunting him just about every night and doesnt seem to be himself. Could worming him have anything to do with it or what? First time i've wormed him and hunted at same time. just have never seen any other dog do this. going to lay him up next 3-4 nights just to see what it will do.

Parasite die off. He will feel better in a few days.
Don't forget to give him a single dose of wormer 10 days from the first to break the egg, larva, worm lifecyle.

You didn't say if u used dog, or horse or goat wormer. It is panacur and what I have read on the internet is almost impossible to overdose. If u are using the horse or goat most say 10x recommended dose for those animals due to they are ruminants.

it was safeguard horse. i've heard of people giving one dog whole bottle with no ill effects so dont think i overdosed. normally when worming i try to do it when i'm not hunting every night but change in work schedule i hunt at least 5 days a week for now. going to get him out tomorrow night and see how he does.
