Had a great hunt with turkey tonight, treed 2 singles and neither one of them came easy. The first drop was a cornfield track that he stuck with, eventually treeing in a fencerow with the coon. Drop 2 was type of track that would freeze you to death in January. He trailed it through 500 yards of downed treetops and treed in a hedge tree surrounded by a briar thicket.

Turkey picked up a nt ch win last night with 800+. We treed 4 singles and 3 leafy trees that were circled. It was a competitive hunt to the last minute.

Brent,

It will be nice to get some of this blood mixed up with that stock. Both good lines that can get it done. There is not a lot of that stock up here in this part of the country that I know of. A little, but not enuff in my opinion.

Turkey is owned by a guy that works 7 days a week, sometimes 12 in a row. The dog gets out of the kennel maybe 2x a week. Then he rolls down to a hunt (or goes to Redbone Days) and scores big.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that this dog is special.
