My conclusion

After having hounds since 1965 and reading this forum for the last 6 years I have come to the conclusion that all the problems with any and all of the hunts comes down to money or jealousy. And I don't believe any amount of rules or rule changes will or can eliminate this mindset. So what's the answer...if you enjoy the hunts, then go and have fun and enjoy them....if you're not having fun then don't go. But all the crying and bellyaching in the world will not be able to change this mindset

2ol2hunt,

I'm with you. I'm real close to the age of 63. I guess I've got to the point where life is just too short anymore. I guess I will just hunt when I want to and have a lot more fun that way. Rob

X2

I think both of you are spot on, I'm also 63 and have same mind set, I meet more good than bad and still have fun and enjoy it, no matter what or how it changes

Guys

Love these posts you guys have made! I can agree that having fun is the number one thing we all should be seeking at every hunt we make, be it competition or pleasure hunting. If ALL one desires is to win every time, then they are not going to have much fun. Dave

.

Ain't much fun loosing either. Had two world class hounds get beat by a redbone last night. Still Pouting and put the handlers on probation. Congrats Allen. Enjoyed the hunt, the heat and staying at the truck while you handled the snakes. Think Corey said you killed one and chased one or was it chased you guys.
