Above ground kennel deminsions

I am wanting to get my hounds off the ground with above ground kennels and just wondering what deminsions you guys build yours.

with all the new treehugger laws the humane people comeing up with, you might want to check with the local pound as to any new laws.all the anti tieout laws they want, treating animals better than human prisners.

most chainlink kennels are 5' x 10'
I wouldn't go smaller than that,

I was kinda thinking a 6 X 8 would be plenty. I am planning on putting doors between all but one kennel where the dogs can interact with each other.

I have two above ground kennels. Each are 8x16 which make four 8x8' s. Dog houses are on the outside. As of now I'm down to one dog and can take the divider out of his kennel which gives him the whole 8x16. Seems like he's happy.
