Coonhound Companions is not a hunting group. Its purpose is to help coonhounds in shelters find permanent homes. To that end, it provides information on coonhounds as pets and funding for medical care for otherwise adoptable homeless hounds. Any profits from calendar sales will go to those ends. This year's calendars do not have any hunting pictures. The pictures are selected based on their decorative value, with lighting, variety, and setting important. We welcome good quality hunting pix for future calendars, as long as they are not gruesome! For instance, in past years we have included daytime shots of treed big game hounds.
