I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right place. i seen on your on-line store UKC Breeders Certificate for $15.00 My question is, not to sound dumb. What is a Breeders Certificate? Thanks

When we register a litter of pups, we send the litter owner a Breeder's Record along with their papers so they can keep track of who the pups go to. That's what the Breeder's Certificate is. (In case a breeder needs a duplicate of this record).

Hmm, my understanding was that the Breeder's Certificate was a copy of a title certificate (since the original gets mailed to the owner), so that the breeder can have a copy of it too. Seems to me that I get an order form for it whenever I get a new title certificate, as well as an opportunity to update my papers with the new title. Of course, I don't have one handy right now to double check....

You're talking about the letter that we send whenever a dog earns a title. The letter states that you can return your Registration Certificate to us and we'll send you an updated Registration Certificate for half price. The Breeder's Certificate is different than this.

I asked this same question earlier in the year. If you go to the dog events board and go to bottom and type in to find. Ok stupid question. You will see the answer that I got. I had emailed Drew and asked him what The breeders certificate was. And I was told it is a copy of a champion certificate that shows the breeder's name on it. Not sure about the other one being a certificate. I have it as a record keeping form for my files/books. ? ? ? ? ?
