Lovis: Who are the sire and dam, and what can you tell us about them? Why did you choose a hound from this line

Aaron: Sire is GrCh GrNtCh Coopers Storming Ike and the Dam is Blues Band Gypsy Woman. I just wanted to start comp hunting, and seen some guy on the internet selling pups. That guy turned out to be Mike Barns. It was all gut instinct, I didn't know anything about them, and just got lucky.

Lovis: How did you get your hound started as a young dog, and what did you do to prepare him for the World Hunt?

Aaron: Champ has been hunted and raised by me. He gets hunted 5 to 6 times a week. We are also leading the CHKC breed and state race.

Lovis: How did your Zone casts play out?

Aaron: Champ looked good Friday of Zones, and had 350 plus. Saturday was real foggy, and the hunting was rough.

Lovis: Anything else you’d like to add?

Aaron: Champ was a NtCh by 15 months, and a PKC champ by 16 months. Champ won the youth scholarship on the bench, and took second in the hunt. This dog has done a lot for only being 27 months old.
