Ode to Tar
Old Tar was a fixture here but now he's been muted.
Some are overjoyed as his posts were sometimes convoluted.
Some are unhappy, some even sad,
for with most of Tars' post a good laugh could be had.
He thought a lot of himself, mostly me, me, me.
But he had a soft spot in his heart for the UKC.
He's hunted many a dog on many a night.
He has an opinion on all of them and in his mind he's right!!
He spoke of Rattler, Lipper and Wipeout blood.
He traversed rocky ledges and wet, slick mud.
He would punch the keyboard till his fingers were numb.
Never worried about punctuation nor honey bun crumbs.
It was fun while it lasted, but now he is gone.
The moderators took his ball and sent old Tar home.
Hopefully it's not over and he'll be typing again.
We'll just have to keep voting on the poll until then.
