From my experience, pistol is going to improve the redbone breed. He is a winner from winners but more importantly he is reproducing. Hunt mouth brains and independence.

I hunted with Tilly a good bit during the 2016 coon season and she was a pretty nice female. She wasn't scared to get by herself, got her mouth open quick and had a good carrying mouth and wasn't scared to get through the country.

That stuff mixes real well. The CD stuff goes back a lot to NtCh Swing Red Rock that puts hunt in that line. Ol GrNtCh Ok Twister (#1 producing son of Fireball) was double that from his dam's side with Fireball his sire. These should be some hard hunting dudes that go until treed with or without company. To many hounds that are all the same in their pedigree.
