Alpha/Birdseye

I recently purchased an Alpha (been using a 320 for a long time). My question is it better to save $50 or so and just do Birdseye of the areas that I hunt or is the money worth spending on the huntview card??? I am pretty good with the Birdseye downloads etc and download time won't really be a big issue.

Also will the Birdseye on my SD card from my 320 work on Alpha?

Your SD card should work in your Alpha. Biggest advantage to the huntview card is the land owners info. The more you download to your handheld the slower it makes it. But if your loading to a SD card it would be money ahead to load off the web. As long as the landowner info is not a big deal to you.

Hunt view card it's your whole state and never worry about getting out of area-you have down loaded.

SDCard

The maps on the SD card you loaded for your 320 WILL NOT work in your Alpha
But, if you saved the maps in "BaseCamp My Collection" you can format the card & re-load the maps to your card if "BaseCamp" reads the Alpha as Birdseye ready
Or you can use another Micro SD card
If you bought the Alpha new it should have a Birdseye subscription already linked to it
