So is Meltdown always by himself? Is he a deep and alone kind of dog? Is he one of those mile through the country kind of dogs? Or is he an automatic first strike and real quick tree dog? I have never got to hunt with him.

What does that mean? You've got to be 1 of the top 5 winningest hounds in the country for a month to get a ticket! I don't know anyone that goes down to gamble instead of hunt that has earned a ticket!

Sir I've owned several hounds that have gotten truck tickets. I got one last year with one that we got a ticket and only ran her 2 weeks. I knew the odds of winning it before I went there was about a snowballs chance in Alabama tomorrow. If you think every hound there has a 1/64 chance your badly mistaken. Some have a really good chance. Some have a one in 500 chance. I've owned about 5 hounds that have gotten truck tickets. I've owned one truly capable of winning it. I will say if you got one it's worth going because you never know. However you think those hounds that won it back to back just so happen to get that lucky? I will guarantee I've got 2 hounds right now I could get tickets with next month if I wanted to. You need a better than average hound and mis out on a lot of sleep if your a working man. I'm burnt out and have no desire to do that again. It's in my opionion the most prestigious hunt to earn the right to go there. And buy no means am I saying you don't have what it takes to win it.
