Young Guns/WORLD Championships

It gladdens my heart to see these young guns winning Championships, folks like Lane Denny, Gerald Keegan and Tyler Compton hunting and competing against pro handlers and big money owners and still winning a WORLD Championship. Some may say that the old timers and young guns do not relate very well, but that is pure garbage at least with those I know. I am like a grape in the sun that turned into a raison. No longer competing, just pleasure hunting, but it thrills me to see these young guys competing and winning hunts. Coon hunting is alive and well as long as we have these younger hunters in our sport. I have loved coon hunting from a early age and now I relive some of my younger days through these younger hunters. I love the fact that they hunt just as hard as I did when I was younger and the fact that they know what a real coon dog is. Long live our sport and my wish is that all older hunters give these young guys their support and help if needed. Dave

I’m lucky enough to call 2 of those world champions my good friends. The best part is both of them are already Re-Loaded and have another at there house that’s the same caliber as the one they won the world hunt with! HARD COON HUNTERS!

Who knows what you could have done with that dog of yours that hung himself. I heard he was the real deal. I know how bad it hurts to lose one that was as good as he was. You guys definitely are COON HUNTERS and have some really good dogs. Best wishes to each of you in the coming years. Dave
