Took Sassy out tonight while the weather was tolerable. She did a great job on 2 singles so we came home on a good note. Congrats to Brian Jenniwien for putting 2 more cast wins on nt ch Kyles sweet southern Belle, she's 2 wins from gr nt ch now. I can remember seeing Belle split treeing with a coon at a very young age. Gr nt ch Big Walnut One Chance Fancy definitely appears to be bred so little turkeys should be here around Feb 15th.

Turkey is back on the top reproducer list and will hopefully remain #1 for awhile. Here's a picture of a couple turkey x fancy pups. I can't complain about their looks and actions.

Sassy now has 3 wins towards grand. Probably won't hit anymore hunts until it cools down a bit but I fully expect her to finish to gr nt ch before her 3rd birthday.

Thanks Richard. Having the #1 redbone stud dog is serious business. Not just anyone can handle all of this pressure. Sometimes I get more than 1 phone call per year inquiring about turkey. I'm considering getting a secretary!

Turkey has been at a friend's house for the past year. I was focusing on hunting sassy alone and he was needed at my friends house. Sassy is now with Richard Lambert and Blake Wheeler, they're really enjoying her it seems. Turkey is back home and available to the right females. He'll be 11 in February so time is running out on my once in a lifetime dog.

I took him out at 6am, New years day. I can tell you that's not grey on his legs and face, he's just wore the color off! 2 dens, coon seen in the 2nd one!

Congratulations to Tim and TJ Bolin for winning high scoring redbone female at the winter classic last weekend. I've been fortunate to breed nice females like her to turkey.
Richard Lambert made the long drive yesterday to breed his bell female to turkey. The weather was beautiful for Feb so after the dogs had some romance, we took turkey for a hunt. Treed 2 dens and 2 singles and didn't have to walk a mile to do it luckily. Richard and I had a good visit. Thanks for coming up Richard.

11 yrs old, what a coonhound, Turkey bred a female then 2 hrs later went out and treed 2 coons on the outside and 2 dens. I sure was impressed. I can't wait for the pups to get here.

Turkey will be 11 later this month (February). There's still time for a few good females to get bred. I'm not breeding any open registered females unless I know them personally and have witnessed their ability to tree coons. Richard, thanks again for coming up to watch turkey go.

People have asked if Turkey can still breed and the answer is yes. TJ Bolin and Richard Lambert both have pregnant females. Size of the litter is yet to be seen but TJ female is getting pretty heavy. She's due in about a week and Richards female is on week 5. Give these guys a call if you're interested in a well bred turkey pup.

I decided to take ol Turkey hunting last night. At almost 12 yrs of age, he can sure tree a coon in a hurry. He can also put you on posted ground that you didn't plan on hunting. Luckily I was able to get permission to retrieve him from behind a house. His hunting days are probably finished but he's still producing large litters so give me a call if you have a good titled female needing bred. 8168380108
