Walkers don't do that good when weather/conditions are bad and coons are harder to tree.

Who are you kidding? Tell that b's to Flatrock Topper, he just won the senior truck hunt 2 coons in final 4 cast raining and cold weather. Did not see any red bones in that cast. Must not winning that easy money. Lol. Dave

Dave, I knew them two red colored dogs in that pic would have Richard all high strung 😂. Mine treed the only coon in my cast, and even had a redbone in there, but them slick trees them walkers make made me back even with the board lol. All jokes aside congrats to the winners and was glad to see 72 of us showing up to hunt 👍.

If this is true, Walkers are going to have a hard time this weekend.

Yes, it was good to see 72 dogs hunted on a Wed night.
Dave, those were some good walkers at the truck hunt but apparantly you didn't watch the play by play of the final 4. One of them never even made a tree that he stayed on even though they were in a coon zoo. None of them treed any of the 3 coons that they saw sitting up when they got out of their trucks.

Lol. Yes, I listened to every play by play on that hunt. Top trees 2 and the female trees on two herself, 3 out of 4 dogs trees at least one coon. 3 out of 4 is not too bad, considering the won't tree with another dog mentality that some dogs are trained with. You would have to address the 4th dog with the man that owns him. How many times do you ever see any dog tree on the coons sitting up that the cast sees? Dave

Oh my goodness, They hunted 107 dogs last night. A walker can win their cast. I see that one got his picture made last night.

My two cents!

All I can say is that those are 4 beautiful hounds. The walker does have the biggest feet though!

Results are in for the Winter Classic and lo and behold the Walker dogs done pretty good, I guess no one told them they could not tree coons in bad weather wink wink wink. Walker second place overall, English first place.

Same thing at the Grand American, Walker dogs excelled hunting in rain and standing water. My friend won Friday night with a Walker, scored 975 plus, 0 minus and 0 circle points. He was dry holed on Sat night. Walkers won the hunt and reserve champion spot in the final 4 hunt, 3 out of 4 dogs were Walker dogs,

Mr. Lambert crow tastes decent if you season it right, but I guess you already know that as much as you have to eat. Lol. Dave

Maybe I'm reading it wrong but it looks like an english won it, not a walker.

Shhh, don't tell Mr Richards that. Apparantly he didn't see where a Redbone was high scoring Champion on Sat Night either. But 3 or 4 walkers did get in the Top 20 so they weren't shut out completely. I heard that Crow tastes a lot like chicken. Why don't you let us know.

Mr. Lambert, I was only pointing out how stupid your statement was regarding Walker dogs not winning when the weather was bad and coons harder to tree. I have no problem with ANY BREED as there are good dogs in every breed. You have never seen me make such a foolish statement about any breed of dogs. We both know that the Walker breed is very capable of winning any hunt any time of the year and they prove that over and over again. The Grand American Hunt this year was dominated by Walker dogs, that hunted in cold rain and flooded hunting ground. You can't get much worse condition than that, so who exactly should be eating crow? Me or the man who said Walker dogs can not tree coons when the weather is bad and the coons hard to tree. I will take your word that crow tastes like chicken, you have had to eat your share like it or not. Lol. Dave P. S. Check out the Walkers vs Bluetick Hunt Feb 5, 6 in North Carolina and see how that turned out hunting in cold Feb nights no leaves, so much for your statement that Walkers are not very good in bad weather when coons are harder to tree.

Winter Classic

Double cast wins by breed for the top ten scores.
Walker 5 with double cast wins in top 10 combined scores
English 2 with double cast wins in top ten combined scores
Black Tan 1 with double cast win in top 10 combined scores
Blueticks 2 with double cast wins in top 10 combined scores
Zero double cast wins for all other breeds in top 10 with combined scores

Looks like the Walker dogs had 50 percent of all breeds 20 percent for English, 20 percent for Blueticks and 10 percent for Black Tans. In double cast wins with combined scores. So much for Walker dogs not doing so good in bad weather when coons are hard to tree, huh Mr. Lambert? You do see these scores right.
