Which means another dog would have had to be treed in before the stationary was applied to the dog not declared treed.
I see people doing this when they have a good lead and want to kill time or have another dog take first tree, in case it is slick.

By applying the stationary.....judge has declared that dog(s) treed.....even thou the handler hasn't !

If the dog doesn't bark for 2 minutes, the stationary is taken off him. If he goes back to treeing before the two gets him, then the cast goes into the tree and if the dog is treed up on a tree, he is scratched,
