Trail camera's

I use trail camera's year round. Mostly to see when the coon are moving, and what is larking in my backyard. I have bought several high dollar ones (150-175 $ rang) and many in between. Seems it don't matter how much you spend on them most of them are throw aways after a few months. The most reliable ones I found were the old cheap tasco ones they sold at walmart. They were $35. They don't make that style anymore the new ones are hit and miss like all the rest. I have 3 new Stealth ones that are pretty much useless. What have you guys had luck with if any. I just need a time stamp don't care if it takes award winning pic's, as long as I can tell what the pic is. I can't stand the ones the eat batteries either.

Spypoint micro with the solar panel on top. I get at minimum 3 months on a fully charged battery. Thing only takes around 10 mp pictures. But you can tell what’s going on.

best

If you want the best cameras that can be trusted to get the pictures when an animal walks by , get ryconx. Made in the USA , 5 year warranty , great service if warranty needed , works better in below freezing weather with lithium batteries. BUT you will pay 400 to 600 dollars per camera. Been using cameras for about 15 years , this brand is superior to anything out there.

If you dont want to break your bank account and you dont need them sent to your phone , the Bushnell Trophy HD is a good lil camera and it has Great battery life ( uses 8 AA ) . I never have kept a date record but i know im getting approx 6 months batt life . There are alot of good cams out there to choose from ,,, ive got 3 of these and they havent let me down yet and if you dont want your pic taken you better not walk in front of it. Cam Lock box company makes a nice theft and bear proof steel case for this model also made to be used with the small python master lock cable .

browning is ok

The best thing to do is go to amazon and read the reviews of cameras there before you buy. It's a real eye opener on how many bad cameras there is on the market

Thats just it iv'e gone blind reading them. They are how I figured out no point in spending a tone of money on them, they are no more dependable than the cheap ones. And good luck getting them replaced.
I've gotten many that didn't work out of the box. But i'm bad about buying them and putting them up for 6 months to a year before I open them.
