Line breed or outcross

Okay Ive got a 2.5 year old female Im very pleased with and would like to have her bred in a year or two if she keeps going how she is. She is 2nd generation Ragin Black Hank X Osage Annie on top and 3rd generation Pearsons Rambling Ranger X Dark Filte Jill (Hobo Hoss daughter) on the bottom. When you get back further she has Indian Outlaw on her Dames side as well and Two Time Albert and Ace etc.

Right now I'm looking at Judge or Southern Rage/Batman which has the same dogs mixed in as my female fairly close in the last few generations.

She's 50lbs, slim and fast. Better than average nose. Fast loud chop on tree. She hunts right from the tailgate and covers a woods pretty tight, sometimes it works out and sometimes I wish she would just get out a few more hundred yards quick and get a coon track going. She started all by herself and is a very natural coondog.

So would you breed back to something with close genetics or outcross?

The Hobbs Way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I personally think that 2 Time Albert put a lot of his genes in the breeding. I think that Judge would be a great choice because I have a litter mate to him and when you have 2Time on the top and bottom and you breed to something that has 2Time in them you get excellent pups. I am having great success doing this and I don't care who knows. This is just my opinion which really doesn't matter.

Well I'd like to add some more get out a go to her. But I hate a dog that runs paths or field edges for 800 yards etc. I like her heart and drive and nose. I also enjoy natural easy starting dogs. I prefer her build light weight and fast. I like nose power and tracking ability cause you need it here. It gets dry as a bone in the summer and cold and frozen in the winter.

Naturally I'm thinking linebreed. Up here in Canada there's not much so I've got to get out and see these studs cause without driving hours all I can do is research on the computer and call around.
