I just bought a dog from a guy and he lost the papers but has the UKC card with the dogs id number and I get the dogs papers with this thanks.

The previous owner will need to submit an Application for Duplication Registration. This form can be found on our website. Please have the previous owner complete the form and submit it to our office with the appropriate fee. Once the previous owner receives the duplicated paperwork, he can then sign it over to you so you can have the dog transferred into your name.
