These are real nice pups, there 8 weeks old, 3 males 1 female left to sale. Their sire is a nice old hound belonging to Mr Billy Wilks, he is a great grand pup of Junior and shows him 4 times in 5 generations, along with others, pinehill true boy, blue boy red, boyds little joe, golden bugle (3 times), turkey ridge racket. I'll try to post ped and some pictures tonite. The dam is a female of mine making a nice little dog, she is a grand pup of briar creek zeb. This is the 2nd cross, 1 blue male 2 redtick males, 1 redtick female $200 each. phone # 256-484-4041

The top side of that pedigree sure jogged some old memories...as a 10yr old boy back in the mid/late 70's I helped start two young dogs for Mr. Kelly Stagner...'PR' Platte Valley Kelly & 'PR' Platte Valley Al...with Gary Roach's boys "Roach's Lady"....my very first coonhound was out of Platte Valley Kelly and a female Gary had running loose on his place at the time. Not sure of the females name now.
Thanks for posting, didn't know any of that blood was still around.

Thanks for the picture David, people wouldn't think he came from that litter but he did, only one colored like that rest was blue and red. He's a good looking hound, all these are pretty much naturally straight. Good luck with him.

The blue male pup made the 9 1/2 hour trip to back to Ohio with more sense than many older dogs I've hauled. He's been to the Vet and is in excellent health, thanks to the care Jim has given. This pup acts good around the kennel and on the chain. He's already started on a drag hide and shows good interest at 14 weeks. Thanks Jim for your efforts in keeping this family going within the breed. Best of luck to you.
