In my area all the clubs are small. None of them give out any prizes, except for money in slams. From what Ive seen most UKC hunters just want the title

We built plaques. Simple pine board lightly sanded stained and my wife had a vinyl cutter and we lettered them that way but you could paint the lettering or burn it with a wood burning kit. Didn't have 20$ in a set of bench show and hunt awards.. Between hounds and racing I could care less if I ever received another trophy but to the young ones just getting their feet wet they were mighty proud. It was good advertising too.. You would be surprised how many of them boys would leave it sit in there front seat of their truck just to show it off to their buddies... It may not seem like much but it does make a difference...

We give out a number of different things . Dog lead, CoonClub logo Feti cup, hat, t-shirt, homemade plaque .
But most of the time its a dog lead and we give away 1 for registered winner and 1 for champion winner. I dont know of any other club around that does this BUT it doesn't actually draw in the crowds we just like giving "something" away . Yes it costs the club money but it is appreciated by most who receive it.

at our club we provide free meals for the hunters dinner and breakfast nothing to fancy usually a pot of chili or stew. For breakfast it's usually biscuits and gravy. Our hunters seem to like that more than some award that is going to get thrown in the corner some where.
