He was honest, didn't have a mean bone in his body, was good looking and just a great disposition. You could put any pup with him and under any circumstances and he'd always let them get on the tree or have the coon and never a mean moment...never!

If these young dogs develop any of the good traits that he had, folks will enjoy a top hound for a long time to come.

Dave P. and Myself took 7 young people hunting and had a ball. One day I took Tom for a ride and he showed me all of his coon hunting spots he had over the years. I told him he had to have worn out a lot of boots walking all of the hills. I got a thumbs up on that. LOL! We had a great visit and both of us were so Happy to see each other again. Had so much fun with the kids that night I brought both of the big coon home to have a blanket made of them. They are at the taxidermy right now. Four of the young people had never been coon hunting and they are already waiting for me to come back and go again. I will be getting that picture in an 8x10 and one of Lou/Gun in an 8x10 and put them on the wall with the Blankets. Good Memories right there. Dave

Hello from Mrs. Cone head. Old Leinie had a cancerous growth on her eye lid. Vet managed to save it. Otherwise she would have lost the eye. So we were happy. Except for 3 weeks of that darn cone. Hope all is well Tom.

Good to see you still kickin' Scott.

Our housedog (beagle) had a small growth on her eye last year, it wasn't cancerous but we had it removed last august.......that cone was the biggest pain for that dog and us. We feel your pain.

Glad Leinie is going to be okay and still has that eye.
