Penny was a real good dog but she wasn't out of the line we were talking about. I will be posting several Timberstar Buddy videos soon. He was a foundation sire.

Here is a video of 3 of Buddy's son and daughters. All were littermates, all had wins towards Grand Nite Champion, and all would have easily made it if a real competition hunter had owned them. Grand Champion Nite Champion Coon Sackin' Sandy had 4 wins towards Grand. She is the mother of Dual Grand Champion Totally Alsome, an English Historical Reproducer.

Here is an old video, the audio and video are not good, they were made 25 years ago. The dog, Grand Nite Champion Crooked Creek Jr (Junior), was certainly one of the best coondogs I ever turned loose. If Junior opened 3 times, he would show where the coon ended up. When the other dogs would pull up short, Junior would check them and then go on to show you where the coon really was. Junior was the best cold trailing coon dog I ever saw. I didn't hunt Junior that much in the early season, I waited for the snow and ice. Junior could tree coons other dogs did not know were in the woods and I mean good coon dogs. I could not follow a dog like Junior these days, I am older and my health won't allow me to follow a hard going dog. Junior was the best!

Here is a video of Dual Grand Champion Clemon's Treeing Bam Bam II, a dog I have used in my breeding program a lot. He was a grandson of Buddy and a double grandson of Dickey's Old Sandy. Play one of Buddy's video and then, this video. You will see and hear why I used Bam Bam II a lot in my breeding program.

Terry, I am sure you will love this one.

Here is a video of a half sister to Zeb Jr and Boss. She is Grand Nite Champion PKC Champion Rocky Run Sis. Sis won 1st place win at English Days when she was 1 year old. She is one of the winningest dogs born here at Lakeland Kennels. This video was taken when she was young.

I have some dandies coming up in the future. Wait until I post the video of Little Bam. It is great! After I post the Little Bam video, I will post one of Roofus and let folks compare. But, it will be a couple of days, I have a musical video I want to post today or tomorrow. I need to get it on YouTube first. I hope to post a different video every day or so all winter.

Here is a clip of one of the best videos I have ever made. You can hear it all from strike to tree. I loved Little Bam's mouth, it was LOUD! On some of the video, the picture just shows the corn field I was standing in and it looks like it would if you were standing there next to me. I could have edited it out but I wanted you guys to here it all from strike to tree, not just the treeing. I hope you like the video, I sure do. It shows the way a good English is supposed to tree coons.

Terry, I have boxes full of video tapes. I used to carry that big VHS camcorder. Now, everything is digital. I have 2 external hard drives full of videos and I am planning on buying a new external hard drive soon. I like it that I can carry my camcorder in my shirt pocket.

Here is a video made by Junior Cartright of Grand Champion Nite Champion Maddy Gee's Roofus. I ask everyone to play the Roofus video, play the Little Bam video and play the Buddy video. Doesn't it almost sound like the same dog? And, I hunted all 3 a lot, I can guarentee you once any one of them committed to a tree, you could go to town and get a cup of coffee, they would be treed when you got back. And, when you turned any of the 3 loose, the next time you would see them is on a tree with a coon in it. Ask Junior if I am telling the truth about Roofus.

Here is a video of Roofus when I was hunting him. It sometimes wasn't easy hunting Roofus, while he would tree the first coon he came to and didn't have to go deep to tree a coon, he would go deep to find one if he had to go deep. In my older age and health, I just can't follow a dog like Roofus, Little Bam, or Buddy any more.
