I never been with willy or even seen him, but if someone doubts that he is a coon treeing unit, they are mistaken. You don’t win a world hunt with anything less and he just won 2 of them. For sure a good one. The only question would be if his style suits what you want to breed to.

.

Two dogs in the cast had plus. Willy got beat 200 to 175. I assume since this is a youth world hunt there may be a different handler with him last night.

I have an all grand harry female waiting to come in so I can breed her to a Grandson of Sackett Jr. The crossing of those two bloodlines has produced several good hounds.

AND SOME MIGHT SAY THE SACCKET JR X HARD WOOD DIXIE CROSS DONE MORE DAMAGE THAN ANY OTHER CROSS MADE IN HISTORY TO THE TREEING WALKER BREED .

Hardwood Dixie herself played an important role in the development of the Treeing Walker Breed as we know it today. Not only individually but her and offspring being line bred with Dixie showing up multiple times behind some of the best know dogs in the breed. The line breeding of Dixie and the looking at her pattern in several pedigrees of top hounds is a good model on how line breeding works.

also a good model and example of recessive traits that are kept and passed on by line breeding that cause health issues in our hounds we have today. the bozo dog passed the recessive trait for thyroid disease to dixie with a double shot top and bottom . now take a look at how breeders have line breed her offspring with abby lady sue and rat . walker hounds rank # 16 for thyroid disease .will all this line breeding push them to # 1 .out crosses in the walker breed to improve health issues are as scarce as hens teeth if they exist at all.

Thomasg Bozo is hands down one of the best things to ever happen to the walker breed and is found in nearly every influential walker in the past few decades.
Have you genetically tested Bozo DNA? What about Harry or Princess, Barney, Candy, Chief, Jill, Spot or Bonnie.

All I know is Willy is the greatest and that is a fact! And when the sun comes up and the sun goes down, he is still the greatest. Bozo bred dogs were nice, but Finley river dogs were better. Jmo

back in the bozo days it was the dominating style tree dogs that ruled . jockeying for position taking and giving fang pressure owning the tree won a lot of hunts . bozo threw the dominating type tree dogs that would stay with the light broke dogs like demon hittler pysco. lol

Don't forget them other killers that are legends of today on this board. Once they rode the bozo train far as they could, jumped on board the Nailor train and rode it awhile, then back to bozo bred again, then ended up on the Lipper train currently. The truth is bozo bred dogs were no match for the Finley river dogs l saw and could not beat them consistently, period. They also could not run them no where and neither could these other current day alligator legends of the late 70' and 80's. I hunted with some of them big time grand night legends with their owners. They wanted no part of Finley River hounds,or for that matter Yadkin River Jeff or Yadkin Tar Rattler either, couldn't afford to let it get out. I was just a snotty nose kid then but we treed 190 coons a season with them pleasure dogs, year after year. Heck, we even made the professional trappers mad and l trapped too. Then
