more info
Anne was a early starting pup. I saw her run & tree net at 5 months old when I was at Terrys to hunt with NTCH Lady, before buying her. I started hunting Anne in late May with other dogs & never had her refuse to go hunting/running track or treeing from 1st night in the woods.
She is from 4th cross of Boomer/Ruby that has produced many winners & reproducers in our breed. If you look at pedigree of this cross, you can see this is doubling up on the Boomer/Ruby cross in Jacks pedigree thru GRNTCH Joleen. The Alice female of Danny Glistas' is also an older litter of this same cross.
After hearing about this nice young dog, GRNTCH Jack, out of Jet 10 in Minnesota & all the great Jet blood he possess', I decided this was going to be the 1st cross from Anne. I have carried her to many big hunts in last 3 years, so many of you breeders have seen her in action.
She has NO reverse when you cut her loose. Has a very good bawl mouth on track, is a quick strike dog & a pull pressure short, hard bawl tree dog. She is not looking to grub a track all night, she will work it quick as possible & is looking to get treed.
Her winnings include:
Queen of Hunt 2015 Wisc. BBOA State hunt- 2 CW
Queen of Hunt 2015 IA. State BBCHA hunt
2nd place- 2015 WISC. ST. Youth hunt- treed 2 coon by herself for 350+ with Madi handling.
Qualified for '14, '15 & '16 UKC World hunt & placed 7th in Zone 1 in '15 to advance to World finals in Flora, IL. This year she didn't hunt at world hunt, as she came in heat 2 days before zone hunt took place.
Just a side note, of her 5 NTCH wins, grand kids, Brice & Madi, put 2 wins on her, 2 wins came at RQEs' & the 5th win came when she advanced to finals. Not a good way to pick up perf. points, but as you can see, they didn't get put on her at small local hunts either!!!
More info on Jack can be found under Ed Sturms' post on here about the litter that he also has coming from his female. Jacks' pic can be seen on Jet 10s' site in stud dog section. He is a good looking hound with good bawl mouth on track & nice chop on tree.
I'll try to have someone dig up & post a pic of Anne on here or just look on page 78 of 2015 BBOA yearbook. Take care, Ron.
