Alpha Question

Does anyone know the serial number break on an Alpha that changed from being built with a tt10 to a tt15 collar ???

I think the serial numbers start with 2PV on 4 gb alphas and 3YU on 8 gb alphas.

Note those should be USA serial numbers. One coming in from somewhere else may have a different series of numbers.

If you have any questions about the serial number. You can call Garmin at 180-800-1020 and give them the complete number and they can tell you about how old it is.

They can also tell you who the Alpha is "registered" to. I lost mine once and a guy called me and said that he found it and called Garmin and they gave him my name and phone #. When you buy an Alpha, you should always register it.
