Garmin collar

I have a tt10. It’s been on the charger for 24 hours and still showing it’s charging. I’ve cleaned the contacts. Any suggestions?

.

Take it off charger and turn it on like you are using it. Once connected go to the information page look and see if it shows completely charged. If it is then there is an indication problem. If it isn't then the battery is not fully charging and you might need a new one.

Indication problems generally come from a contact issue with the charger. I would check all the contacts again on the collar and charger to see if one is dis colored. It is usually the contact that is one portion from the end. If you see one discolored then scrape slightly aggressive.

But first you need to see if it is actually charging.

I turned it on and the receiver. It showed fully charged. It does have a discolored contact.

Can Garmin fix that or just leave it like that and just keep checking it?

I have 2 TT10’s that have some age and were acting up, I was told they were throw away items, I sent both to Bruce and the Conkeys crew and they repaired both of them for less than the cost of 1 new TT15!! Both collars work great and I am very happy I never threw those collars away like other companies had suggested.

Highly recommend Conkey outdoors

.

You can take a pocket knife blade and try to clean that contact. It is not replaceable. You can try pencil eraser also. Some time rubbing a alcohol works.
