Great people. They lived around Johnstown, Oh. In the late 70's or early 80's Paul senior was working in Okla and met a Redbone man by the name of Richard Chatman. He started off buying a older female from him and ended up buying several nice dogs off Richard. One of which was the old Hoss dog which Paul Jr made Gr Nite Ch. From there they started meeting several older Redbone people including Sid Dowd who they ended up using his kennel name Rose-Max Kennel. They ended up with the last Son of Chickhominy Max who was a son of Hunters Timber Chopper. They then kind of went toward the Blakesley line of dogs getting some pups out of Ch Blakesley River Chief . They had some nice Redbones in Hoss, Star, Adam, Hugo, Scar, ect. They had some beautiful long eared, dark red dogs. I lost track of them after Paul senior died in late 80's or earl 90's.
