Took brawler for a drop tonight. He busted threw the country got struck on a cold feed track and ran it for a hour crossing the elk river and treed a big den tree. Cut him loose off that tree and went 400 yards and fell treed with one bark one a greasy one. Looked pretty good. When I got back to the truck my dog box doors was froze solid so he got some first class treatment on the ride back.

Jar's Hardtime Southern Brawler

Kevin and myself have decided it's time to push B in some hunts. He has done an excellent job this winter about getting treed with the coons. With our schedule it's hard to hunt one like they need but we have managed to see right over 40 coons with him in two months (dec-Jan) with a little luck we will finish him out fairly easy.

B done a fine job tonight in the snow. Struck quick and got deep with this one. It ran into some hemlocks. Kevin figured since he couldn't find the coon that he'd just take a nap at the tree hahahaha

From what we are seeing mason is throwing independent coon treeing dogs with lots of drive and nose

This young hound never stops amazing me every night. We can cut him in any wood we got no matter what the weather and he always seems to get under a coon. He's turning into the best dog I've been in the woods with. We cut him last night in a spot that gets hammered by coon hunter and he hit a cold track and worked it down a creek until he seemed like he couldn't work it any more. We was talking while keeping the 8 running. 6 minutes into it He went over 650 yards aross a field to hit another patch of woods that we've only had one dog go to (mason) he treed on the third bark and had the coon. On the way back we got to the truck and seen a coon laid up so I was hoping he would tree it but he cut back into the patch that he was having trouble in but hit the track again and ran it about 10 minutes before letting out some dying locates and setting in treed. Once again he had the coon. He's a blast to hunt I've never seen a dog young or old make it look this easy! It's going to be a interesting summer with this one

Your more than welcome to stay and hunt when you get your pup. Talked to Kevin yesterday he said Dixie is starting to swell. She usually has several. I'm excited about that cross it should be some coon treeing track driving fools! I got a NtCh littermate to Dixie. Both are very nice dogs.

Kevin's pick up a htx hunt pass with brawler last night. Said he treed a coon in 5 minutes of turning him loose. No feeder buckets either. Good job! Gonna hit up a couple hunts this weekend hopefully and try to pick some ukc wins up. Good luck! We've seen 12 coon out of 15 drops with him and 3 we're dens.

We are having a benefit for earl blevins and his family this sat April 4.earls home burned a few weeks ago and they need help .there will be a hunt that night non license you all are welcome.
