I know i have seen post on this before but cant find them. How do i correct the problem of dogs tracks vanishing? I have cleared hunt logs and tracks from previous hunts but still happening. Any help is appreciated.

I believe there is a setting

About how long the tracks last. Have you checked that? It may be set for a short time.

I had cleared all track info but it was still erasing tracks. I had mine set on two hours. I changed the setting to show all and so far mine is doing good. My Uncle has one doing same thing. His alpha does not have a show all option. I cleared his track and set his for two hours which is max option on his. It seems to be working for now.

.

The best way to clear you tracks and know they needed to be cleared is to use Trip Reset. You can find that by scrolling down the home page. When you tell it to reset it will show you in precentage how full your system is. Anything above 80% is a good indicator thats your problem.

Somehow mine seems to automatically put a lot of my hunts in an archived file, and this seems to be what causes my system to do that exact same thing. after I go clear my archived file it works fine again for a while. And by the way I have never purposely tried to archive a track, it just seems to do it on its own.

So maybe if I start using the Trip Reset, I will never have to clear mine the way I have been doing it.

Unfortunally you still need to clear archived tracks. One at a time and it is a pain. I have seen handhelds with years of archived tracks on them and so full they would not take an update till tracks were deleted. Took almost 30 minuted to clear all of them.

Bruce i feel dumb but i did not find trip reset on home page. I found trip computer but no trip reset. I did clear all archive tracks manually though.
