 Newby

HI everyone! I hate to plug up the forums with newby stuff but i was wondering if anyone could give me some pointers. I do not know anyone that is affiliated with UKC or even AKC. I am looking for information about what I need to do in order to register my dog, if my dog is breed standard and where to go about finding a trainer for shows?

I have read the website and am not too sure what is needed on my part and what I should send in.

I appreciate any information you can spare for me.
