My name is casey and I hunt everytime the guys go! Pretty much LOVE hunting! Its all me and my husband do...our dogs are our life! No doubt! I hunt in competitions a lot and the guys HATE drawing me because I normally whoop some butt! Lol but anyways I'm from florida....any women around me hunt? I m 30 years old and have 2 girls one four and one is 15 months, We all hunt deer,coyote, quail, and COON. We have 6 coon dogs a hand ful of coyote dogs and love every minute of it wish I had some pics. We are from Western Indiana. I wouldnt trade my two litte tomboy girls for nothing I absolutly love raising them around the real country life and they will truley be amazing women. We compition hunt and plesure hunt and even have a pet racoon. For every women out there that hunts we nee to get ukc to have a huge all women hunt for youth and one for us older women even if there is nothing but alot of friends and good times made it would be alot of fun and educational to the younger ones that women can do anything. I own Primetime Buckwheat s full sistr and compition hunt her alot I also own a black and Tan pup that is out of chenoweths rebel. I love hunting I would rather be in the woods than anywhere else. I have had my walker female in about 17 hunts and won 13 of them. I knowhow to hanle a dog and would rather hunt a female dog than anything. I have beencoyote huntingwith dogs for about 7 years now and if you have nevrbeen coyote hunting with a great pack of dogs come to indiana and wewill show you some hounds. Im not real partial to any breed but I own a b&t a bunch of walkers and a bluetick female. But I will have to say that walkers and b&t make the coon dogs around here. Hunting and loving it !!!!!!

Ya I wish that ukc and Pkc would hold one each year make it an annual thing that would be cool. Its alot of fun hunting with the guys but if there was a hunt held each year for females only we could really get coon hunting to be a bigger sport with the women an on top of that it would create a world of media frenzie that could possibly get alot of things done for coon hunters. A womens voice can be heard very loud when it comes to animals. If anybodys got n ideas plse let me know

i love coonhunting i always wanted to but never had the dog to do it then i got the chance either last year or year before and i fell in love and now im in college and have a pup at home that is in training and i dont get to hunt much so im hoping i can hurry and get settled in college so i can hunt more

although I am only a part time coon hunter and mostly a big game hunter. I was actually lucky and blessed enough to have produced the new 2009 Bluetick World Champion...go figure! I know quite a few 'girls' that hunt, I guess if we are doing ages wel I'm now 35 (bleegh) and have been doing the hound thing for I think 15 years or so now.

I dont know many girls out there in the woods but we need more of em out there!!I am a 21yr old newlywed who met my hubby in the only collegiate coon hunting club at ABAC!! We hunt together but we have our own ideas and dogs! I definitely don't need a man to go in the woods either!
