Just wondering if anybody hunted with or has any information about him. I've been hunting a male off of a half-brother, half-sister cross off of him that I really like.

Looking at Skunk's pedigree, he's out of a full brother to Burning Ben named NTCH Shabel's Famous Apachered. I'd also be interested in any info on Apachered.

Shabel's Famous Apache Red was owned by Jerry Limes of St Elmo IL.
Use to talk with Jerry at the hunts in Central IL. I haven't heard about or seen Jerry in probably 10 years.
Roger Shabel might have info about Red. I don't know.

Rodger Shabel sold Shabel's Famous Apache Red to Jerry Limes when he was a puppy. Back in those days we had to name all the puppies when we litter registered them and most people changed the pups name when they permanently registered them in their name but a few left the name on the puppy papers is the reason for the name.
