We have a male we run on bear. Wouldn't say he is heavy buckeye bred but does got back to Buckeye Bud and Dixie on the bottom side. Close up he is poacher stock and Paul Irwin's stock. He saw his first bear ever and ran it over 3 miles before catching him off at the road. Before that he had been turned on one other bear track without seeing it and led the race over experienced dogs. We have two female littermates we run one on bobcats and one on coon. They are awesome dogs on any game. Plenty of speed and winding ability. I would say colder side of medium nose as far as we can tell right now. They just turned a year.
