dog lost voice-need advice

guys, need help or suggestions, have a 4 yr old female that has lost her voice, its not from barking, she never barks in the kennel, and hasnt been hunted in over a month, due to being in heat, (she was fine before heat cycle), took her out after heat cycle was over and she just barely had any voice, so its not over use, thought might be allergies, have been treating with allergy pills and LA-200, fed late last night so she thought we were going hunting and she still just kinda squeaked .. any ideas or suggestions? thinking of Prednisone should be used next ?

she did this one other time when she was about a year old, same time of year, laid her up for 6 weeks and doctored with LA-200 and prednisone then and havent had anymore issues since then..

thanks,

I’d start by taking her to a vet.
