My son just got a cur female that is out of a dog called brushy Creek Bob and a brushy Creek female . Every dog in her bloodline at least on papers is brushy Creek does anyone have any info on this bloodline what it goes back to where it came from hunting style if so any info would be appreciated.. new to the cur world just wanting to have background knowledge of bkoodline
JD Soileau of Louisiana is Brushy Creek line of curs. He has mostly an old stock line of dogs going back to Huntsman, Beaty and Saline river dogs. The line is considered “Busher bred dogs”. I have 2 of his dogs, they hustle and have good winding abilities. I understand some are extremely nice dogs. JD says Bob has been producing some really nice ones. Also have heard if you trace Bob back far enough off his papers there is some blood that the “true old time cur guys” don’t approve of. If that doesn’t bother you I’d say you’ve probably got a pretty good dog
