help getting dog to tree

i have a vaughn/bragg bluetick about 3 years old he has been to a couple bear trees and some coon trees. chewed on bear and coon but he just wont tree unless he can see it and still doesnt like to settle down. seems to be a set down tree dog. kinda runs around barking if dont see it. will run track some on his own. just have never messed with him much until now. what should i so next beside hunt him. thanks

thanks was hopin it was the lack of exposure and my fault but some dogs lack the tree poweri guess.

get him on about ten more coon or bear trees if he does not show great improvement time to start with another hound with his age he should come on quick or he is a cull

the problem might be he was shown to many coons are bears when started and he was use to treeing by sight instead of scent if so keep hunting him when he runs up on the rite one a hot one and **** near catches it going up the tree his switch might flip[ but if he wasnt shown an over abundance of prey then its true they are born not made you xcan take some tree out of them but you cant put it in!! if the problem was man made you might fix it if it was genetic el good luck
