Heat cycles

I've got a female that's just not coming in heat she's healthy not really old enough for her not to come in unless she's just stop cycling early. I've tried penning her beside a female in heat tried vitamin C. What's some other ways yall have gotten them to come in heat and have pups. She just turned 6 but last known cycle has been bout 2 years.

I know there's supplements out there just never used them if you have any recommendations feel free.
Be a shame not to get atleast 1 litter out of her.

All I feed is pro plan 30/20 and pedigree if she's not being hunted but that's not too often cause she's only 1 at the house I got to hunt.

I had a similar issue with a female and someone told me to put iodinized salt on her food each day. Don't know if it was a fluke but she came into heat within a month and it was a full cycle

You can get prenatal vitamins at Wal Mart with iodine in them. Just read the labels and look for one with iodine. Or get a supplement from Jeffries Animal Vet just for bringing a female in heat. You can call and talk to them. They have an experienced specialist on staff.

I agree with Mr. Brothers. I have one whose heat cycle is always irregular in length between cycles. She’s 6 but only had 4 cycles . 2 were immediately following being put on medication to help regulate her thyroid and the others followed after I finally got her thyroid level consistent. JMO from my experience
