I just had my 18 month old female come into heat and she had what they call vaginal hyperplasia.( prolapse of uterus) I was out side and about size of softball. I did the research and said it will keep coming back almost every time in heat. Only cure is spaying. I took to vet and they were concerned about ripping or infection so I had her spayed. My question is has any one had there female spayed and what kind of drive did she have after.

If she had drive before she was spayed she will have the same drive.

I had my redbone neutered for some issues and absolutely positively did not affect his hunting at all. I asked the same questions you did and got alot of good feedback on here from other hunters that had only positive comments.
