I'm going to be the odd man out on this one . I'm not a comp. Hunter and I don't buy pups off high dollar dogs. I haven't seen this problem get worse over time I've been following hounds for over 20 years . I have come to the conclusion that walkers are not for pleasure hunters like me they make big scores but when you are in the woods with just you and your dog theres no b.s just the truth looking at you or not.lol.I have never hide hunted but I bet they would not put up with a slick treeer. So I think the question is why do comp.hunters put up with this trait is it just so you can go around saying I have a such and such dog.
