Durbins Rambler and lots of finley river guys on here swear by ole rambler.
Thats all I know. just sold a grand pup to him who was very very sharp. easy starter. started first nite in the woods. hope that helps a little.

Went again last night with this pup. He is off Melvin and out of Throw Back Betty. I sure would like to find out if anyone else has one of this litter. The Guy that owns him is not going to breed Betty back to Melvin but back to jiggs, which is a proven cross as well. Just gonna keep it at the top in case someone stumbles across it.

I made the cross that produced Melvin. He's out of rambler and a Harry female I called Carrie. Greg minkler and I owned her together. Kirk Swanson in Iowa owned rambler at the time

He produced nice hounds. They produce also. Hard to find.
He had only 134 pups and was never advertised.

I have 3 daughters of Rambler and love them. I had 4, but Lou was trying to catch a coon one nite last week and got run over. She was old and had lost her hearing, but loved to hunt and was an awesome tree dog.

I buried her next to Zig.
