RQE question

Can someone tell me if there is a RQE hunt this year in Gibson Tn? It is usually in month of May but i checked every month and did not find it. They may have lost that hunt but i need to know to be able to turn in notice for handler at his job

our club planned a hunt for 6 months or more and I took vacation time off work for it. Verified with UKC and had bank checks to prove we paid. 1 WEEK before the hunt UKC tell us NO HUNT. They lost it or forgot to do something.

Aragon Ga. Polk County’s Hard Hittin Coon Club. Extremely dissapointed in how it all happened. I realize people make mistakes. I make plenty of mistakes. Its the fact it was never made right that bothers me the most.

Jason,

Each year we get a ton of requests from clubs wanting to have a RQE. We always tell them that we need those requests in by October, in order to be considered. Secondly, we limit the number of RQE's we have each year so we simply cannot accommodate all requests.

That said; I just went through all the requests we had for 2018 and I found nothing from that club. So, you've got me lost with your comments?

Jason, never mind my previous comments. Thought you were referencing an RQE.

I've found that you are referring to your clubs February 3rd event. You might want to check with the club officials as our records do not support your statements. The date was scheduled for your club but the club is required to confirm it (provide UKC with deadlines and entry fees). Ten days before the scheduled date, it was too late to confirm it. All February events needed to be confirmed by December 1st so. The reason for this is; December 1st was the deadline for the January Issue of CB. All February Upcoming events are listed in the January issue.

We can certainly look at scheduling an additional date for the one that was not confirmed. That's not a problem, provided there's a date available that suits the club.
