I bought a dog from a guy, he has filled out the papers but didn't send them in. They are signed by the owner before him also. What do I have to do to put the dog in my name ?

you will more than likely have to fill out a name change affidavit form. it cost twenty dollars more. that's what i had to do with a dog i got that the puppy papers were filled out just never sent in.

Hello,

In order for the transfer to be processed with all of your information as the new sole signatory you will need to fill out an Affidavit form. You can find that form here https://www.ukcdogs.com/docs/regist...r-affidavit.pdf. There is an additional $20 fee for the affidavit form.
