Season is nearing an end and all of the easy coons have been harvested so my dogs have really had to cover some ground lately. Both dogs are treed in this pic and both had coons. This makes sassy 40th coon and she won't be 10 mo old for 3 more weeks.

Received an update from Steven Johnson, he owns verdigris river red mack. Out of turkey and nt ch farrs Ramblin red Dolly. Mack is operating really well in Oklahoma and needs 1 more cast win to be nt ch.

Yes it was a good Winter Classic for Rocker, Turkey and Dr Feelgood pups. So glad to see these dogs continuing to produce winners. Congrats Steven on finishing your Turkey pup to NtCh.

Sassy treed her 49th and 50th coon last night. I was hoping she'd hit 50 before her 1st birthday and she did it with 11 days to spare.

Sassy is out of commission due to a snake bite so I took the old dog out. He looked a little out of shape but you wouldn't know it by this picture. Hopefully sassy will be healed up before American redbone days.

It has been a few months since I've commented on this thread so I here's an update. Ol turkey is still treeing Mr ringtail any night I decide to take him. Sassy is just about 18 mo old now, has her Htx title and I put her in a hunt for the first time and won the cast with +325. She's making a great coondog but still needs a little improvement on a couple of things.

Sassy picked up her 5th win to become a nt ch tonight. Pretty good for an 18 mo old pup. She's been my favorite young dog I've owned. From 5 weeks of age until now, she's been a blast.

Turkey bred GR NT CH, pkc ch Big Walnut One Chance Fancy this week. Pups will be here in Richmond Missouri around the middle of February. They will go to select hunters as this could be one of turkeys last litters. I'll update this as things progress.

Richard, it really should be a good cross. Turkey has crossed really well on t-top females and pepper breeding. Fancy has both of those bloodlines in her.
