Is there any coonhunters around this area and what can they tell me about the area good bad where to hunt where not to hunt I am leaving northeast Iowa to live around this area and don't know to much about the coonhunting and if I should leave my hounds are take them with any information would be great.

There is a lot of marsh north of the airport, I think there is a lot of public land east and north of the Wood River.
Get a county plat book that will help you find places to hunt.
