Has anyone used conduit to make kennel panels? If so, would you recommend it, why or why not?

Lumber is the easiest way to frame out a kennel, but I always have young dogs chewing up different areas- looking for alternatives.

welded wire only way to go. Prefiert makes a great kennel but a little costly

If you look what 1 3/8" pipe that they use for chainlink actually is, you'll find it actually measures 1.315" OD and is typically 17ga (approx. .057" thick wall). There's conduit (I believe it's 1 1/4" rigid) that measures 1.315" OD with a wall of .080"+. I just recently picked up over 200 feet of this at a scrap yard for a small fraction of the price of the chainlink pipe. The chainlink caps and connectors all fit perfectly. I'm making a couple of divider panels for a kennel I have that is made from the standard 1 3/8" pipe.
