Hunted some public land last night , seen 5 different trucks with dog boxs almost every spot we pulled in had already been hunted or had a truck parked there but found a spot on back side of the grounds that hadn't been touched yet , turned loose dogs hit pretty good track drove it .83 of a mile on Garmin and treed , went into tree and they where on a patch of 7 red oaks that where all layed into one another and all where big as hood of my truck and full of leaves , we shinned tree for probaly 45 minutes best we could , sqwalled , throwed every colored lens we had in the tree just couldn't find him , and on top of that in a dang briar thicket with briar bushes up to your waist ! We got out of there went back to truck drove back towards house was gonna make another drop but wind picked up bad and started snow flurries so we called it quits .
Friday night made 2 drops , one den , one coon killed , 17 lb boar coon , home by 12:30 !
