That's the problem with opinions everybody has one and they're all different. It's very rare to get somebody to tell you the faults in their own dog although I've never seen one I couldn't hang a fault or two on.

This would be entertaining, but thats it. Asking a man about the abilites of his dog would be like asking if his daughters pretty, his moms a good cook or he's a good shot. It would be bout as accurate as todays comp dogs, which is always over 80% if you ask the owners lol

When you get right down to it, most people either don't know what a dog is doing,or at least they won't admit what they are really doing!

Tar

You mean to tell us that the dinosaurs are at risk of becoming extinct? I thought dinosaurs were old farts like us, still living in the old days. Lol. Dave

Tarbaby, you wouldn't be able to comprehend the secret if we told you. There is a whole 9 page thread on the Redbone Forum. You can take a few hours and read it. But it probably isn't anything that you don't already know.

If you look at a lot of the dogs in the pedigree from 7 generations back and look what the breeding that has produced to the dog that can tell you a lot,the style and different traits through the generation if you new all the dogs in the pedigree,It takes me a year to study and evaluate what I might breed my females to,what did this dog traits got passed on to this dog or if the traits turned out positive or negative,or can this stud have the positive trait I need to pass on to my female to improve on something they might be lacking that I want to improve on my females.doest it mean all the pups are going to be hard hunting dogs,or just mediocure dogs, the best stud dogs out there might not be the best reproducer, everything does not always come out with great crosses
