Zone 4 Miami, Oklahoma 4 States Coonhunters Appreciation Dinner and Hunt

Tonight we are having a dinner and hunt for all those that have helped to make it possible for several bigger events to come to this area. Those that have helped by guiding, non hunting judges and helped on grounds will be eligible for $600 in cash drawings and $1,000 added hunt (1 hour rounds) with free entry.
EVERYONE is welcome to come out eat and visit. Dinner is free and at 6:30 this evening at the hunt grounds. The guys are trying fish and taters and plenty of others bring the fixings.
If you have came in early for zone 4 or happen to be in the area we'd love to have you stop by!

Mike Boone and his lovely double x wife

Mike is our honorary MOH. He gave a speech about no BS and the told us about his first competition hunt in 1958 at 11 years old and he won 3rd place and he slept with his trophy for 3 years and 2 days lol.

I could tell you Shawn was last in line to eat but that would be a lie! I never knew Dennis could cook until tonight. We put Craig Wimp out there to supervise the fish frying. It took 30 minutes of frying to even get a pan full. Dalton and Tim kept sampling to see if it was safe for everyone else to eat.

We had a good time and right at 50 people there for dinner. 15 hunted in the hunt. A rain moved in while they were out and it has cooled down here some. Good thing it was non sanctioned because only cast winner Stan Morris returned a score card. Tyler handed me an envelope as a scorecard which he assured me Allen said was perfectly legal. Professional judges and Chey and Dalton's casts just came back empty handed, theirs supposedly in their heads. It is nice when you can send a group out even paying out $ and know that even with no scorecard returned the guys came back laughing and having good time ready for an after hunt snack. A combination of pleasure hunters and some top competitors but all friends doing what they love.
The high dog of the night was 12 3/4 year old Redneck Mafia, maybe Cheyenne should have qualified him so he could hunt in the zone. Maf was ready to hunt it off and the guys were ready to split and go to bed. Being retired time means nothing to him lol.
This club is made up of members from various clubs in our area we put together to make it possible to bring a few larger events to our part of the world. What none of our clubs alone as a group has worked really well.
Thanks everyone that brought food and fellowship. Without all of you it would not be possible. We'll do it again next year!

Zone 4 predictions we aren't making any predictions on who the winner will be but anyone in attendance for $5 a spot can get in the high score prediction pot. Prediction closest to the high score without going over wins the pot. Each entrant will write down their high score guess along with circle point guess, circles will be used to break any ties.
