Jkidd summed it up pretty well. Garmin has several watch models out. Almost to the point of being confusing. But the instinct seems to be one of the favorites because of price while the Fenix has different models it can be pricey.
These watches give the owners the ability to put all type of things on their watches. Actually more choices than anyone needs and it gets confusing. Just the look or face of the fenix watches can be changed to hundreds of styles and looks. You can then select a vast amount of widgets to install to your watch. Then you can forget which one of the 5 buttons to push and your not using any of them. Way over complicated for many but the coolest toy a tec person can have.
I will say my watch saved my butt one night when I was by myself and got a mile into a bad swamp. Then leaving the tree realized I left my Garmin on my dog box. Without that watch and its map and compass. I would have been there a while.
I have simple hunting and health widgets on my watch face. Sunrise/Sunset. heartrate, steps, day, date, time, % charged. Love the bluetooth to the phone because I can be in a meeting, church, or having a conversation and any message or call I get comes up on my phone screen and all I have to do is glance at the watch with no disturbance to others or the situation. Get a call I have to take. I just excuse myself. Tar and telemarketers can wait. LOL
